Come and join us on our Teamspeak Server and COD4 Server.

-=DOA=- Clan

About Our Clan

The DOA clan is basically a bunch of lazy people who marry their computers after work until their eyes are rolling in their skulls. The members of this clan play many different games to relieve stress and have fun with others doing the same. The age and skill level really doesn't affect the clan as long as everyone is here to have fun and enjoy the game. However, you must be aware that a lot of the clan members have extremely huge egos and should not have any attention paid to them **cough, cough** Killer-Wolf **cough, cough**.

Server Conduct

The DOA server is here to have fun and see how many times you can blow the other person's head off. The members of DOA try to keep the server as family orientated as possible and ask that the cussing is left at a minimal and that no F-Bombs are dropped or worse is said. If you feel like your opponent score a nice hit on you go ahead and congratulate them by saying "Nice Shot!" or "Nice 'Nade" because DOA supports praise and encouragement towards others. Unless of course you bring up Toejam... saying "Nice Shot" is okay but they don't need support... that's what their egos are for.

Forum Conduct

The rules for the forum are the basics for the server and some cussing is allowed. We ask you not to place nude photos or really raunchy links on it because, as we mentioned before, there are people of all types and ages that visit the website and the members of DOA do not want to offend anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable in any way. We like to see positive postings and good conduct happening in the server. Remember we are just a group of people that like to have fun... not have problems with others.

Team Speak

The rules for Team speak (a. k. a. TS) is a little different then our game server or forums. We do cuss and have fun because when you are on TS you can hear tone and be able to tell when another person is joking where as you cannot on the server or in the forums. There are kids on TS from time to time and when the kids are on we would appreciate it if the language and joking were brought down a notch or two so parents don't flip out.

COD World at war

Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Duty: World at War
[ignvideUS, August 19, 2008 - It was bound to happen sooner or later; having seen Call of Duty: World at War about three or four times now, Activision finally let us have a chance to actually play the game, a World War II shooter built on the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare engine. We got a taste of two-player co-op in the Pacific (the game supports up to four-player co-op in the campaign) as well as some Russian-themed competitive co-op. First up was co-op play; the level was Hard Landing, the very same level that was shown off during Activision's E3 press conference. This is one of the three Peleliu-based missions in the campaign, Peleliu being a coral island that was the center of a fierce two-month battle between the US and Japan. In this mission, you must work your way through a swamp to capture a Japanese airstrip. You're part of a small squad, with the squad leader voiced by Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland. He really earned his voice acting pay on this one, as he's continually screaming orders above the roar of gunfire and explosions.

The action starts off quietly, though, as the squad infiltrates through the swamp, only to come upon a crashed US Navy plane. A squad member climbs up to the cockpit to check the condition of the pilot only to discover that the body is booby-trapped with a grenade. As soon as it explodes Japanese soldiers, heavily camouflaged with branches and leaves, erupt out of the brush and the fight is on. There's lots of running people through with bayonets, point-blank gunfire, and chaos. Get through the ambush and it's time to move out of the swamp into the grassland. The flamethrower comes in very handy at this point, since there's plenty of tall grass for Japanese soldiers to hide in. No problem; just burn it down. Also take out those trees where snipers like to camp. If you have two players, you can both have flamethrowers, which makes quick work of the jungle, but you have to be careful of where you point that thing. The flamethrower makes short work of grunts, and it is a bit disturbing how realistic it is. Guys melt when you torch them. Next up is storming the base, which means attacking the main building adjacent to the airfield. It's a tactical challenge since it's heavily defended, so grenades and flamethrowers work to clear out rooms. Once that's done, rush out onto the airfield, grab bazookas, and go tank hunting. There's a large tank battle going on, with US and Japanese tanks weaving in and out, and you can provide help by taking out some of the enemy armor. The bazooka is also useful against hardened infantry positions, too.

Far Cry 2 Exclusive Hands-On - Under the Cover of Night

Farcry 2
Farcry 2
Far Cry 2 Exclusive Hands-On - Under the Cover of Night Africa is dangerous enough with the lights on. We turn 'em off. By Jon Miller, GameSpot Posted Jul 10, 2008 2:07 pm PT Far Cry 2 Play how you want to play, says creative director Clint Hocking. Watch | Download This can't be Far Cry 2, can it? Deep in the African wilderness, we slowly creep though the darkness, the stars our only source of light. Using tall grass and bushes for cover, we silently approach a well-guarded compound, an enemy refilling station. The guards who aren't asleep huddle near a fire, idly chatting while we sneak to high ground. From this vantage point we can spy on the entire area, including each guard's position and the location of several fuel tanks. But something's wrong. It's quiet. Too quiet. Where are the booming explosions, the deadly firefights, and the dune-buggy drive-bys we've seen in all of the past demos of Far Cry 2, all of which led us to believe this would be one of the most explosive shooters of the year? Don't worry, we're purposely choosing to sneak around this camp Sam Fisher-style to highlight the differences between night and day combat, differences that are like night and, um, day. Sure, we could fire laser-guided rockets into the camp or ghost-ride an explosive-laden jeep into our enemies, but then you wouldn't get to see some of the unique gameplay opportunities available only at night. First, as it usually happens at night, it's dark. Guards will have a more difficult time seeing you; they'll gather around sources of light such as campfires, and many will retire to their bunks for a good night's sleep. On this night, we avoided the patrols, sneaked from shadow to shadow, and placed improvised explosive devices on the station's fuel tanks. We retreated back to our hilltop vista, pressed a red button, and witnessed a breathtaking sight: a gas station exploding in a giant ball of flame that lit up the night sky like the Fourth of July. Now that's the Far Cry 2 we know and love.
