well if anyone would like to try it out they have a 14 day trial version that you can download and its free for them firsr 14 days. its a bit time consuming, and after the 14 days it does cost a bit of money. which i find very cheap since i uaually have a habit of going out buying 1 game a month, which is like 30-50 dollars per game. but im paying 14 dollars a month instead for it. but anyway my char's name is Starr Furry i'm the Vice President of the Dark Phoenix Industries which is the name of corperation (clan). so if anyone looking for space fighting and such. pick up the game. and send me a tell when im online.

ok so far i got 3 chars, and working on my miner most of all, but i also just created a new char who is gonna be based off of space exploration and stealth technology. and he is my black ops char. he gonna be working on scanning technology and stealth tactics, that way if i ever do some pvp battles with him he can do some recon work and hit and run tactics with his stealth attacks. i also got a brute force char who is working on defenses and capital ships. he has about 74 skills currently and im still working on them but first things first, need to level up the other skills before i buy new skills. he was more of a test char more than anything so right now his skills are scattered and not primarily have a good fix, (alot of skills are only at lvl 1 or 2 and not at lvl 5) i also got a char who will be working on mining technology and ice harvesting and those sorts of skills. but so far thats my chars, main char is Starr Furry, my miner is Krystal Starrweaver, and my black ops is Scattered Twilight.

A while back i tried a free trial of eve, it was OK to say the best, i wasnt much of a fan, but im sure if i put time into it i would've been.
Im sure my MMORPG mind has been warped by WoW and GW.
Btw. Anyone play Sins of a solar empire? If so the ships, solar system, planet, and warp graphics are eerily similar.
"You smell that?"
"what?"
"Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. That smell...that gasoline smell. It smells like...victory"
DANIEL: Hathor?
HATHOR: Yes.
O'NEILL: Have you heard of her?
DANIEL: Hathor was the Egyptian goddess of fertility, inebriety and music.
O'NEILL: Sex, drugs and rock and roll?
DANIEL: In a manner of speaking, yes

i play a bit of wow, but been getting into eve more, and its not really a rpg since there is no levels, its really based on how well you learn skills. and since those skills take real time to learn them, its a slow learning experience, but if you set your mind to a certain ship, like my ops guy is working toward stealth technology, cruise missile tech, and frigate tech, i can get my ship real fast. or my girl who does mining and industry work like that, she trying to get a better mining ship for any kind of mining out there. my main guy is taking a very long time cause he was my main guy and 1st char to play. what i did which my corp (clan) told me to do is get the basic skills done (hull upgrades, afterburner, electronics) done first, then work on your learning skills. your learnning skills speed up your skills learning times faster. it takes 2 full weeks to get the skills done, but at the end, i think it shaves like 10-20% off the time of your skills. and before you make your ship be sure you look at the attribute list first cause alot of your attributes make your skills go faster, like when i wanted to work on missile tech since i wanted my guy to get cruise missile tech for a stealth bomber (cruise missiles good on doing massive ammount of damage to a battleship or a carrier), i had to look up the skill and say ok i need perception and willpower atributes to be nice and high for me to learn the skills quicker. so far i found out that int, perception, and will power count toward alot of the skills you own. cha is more for trading and social. memory good for learning skills.
now as for the security. you will notice there is a security level for every system, the lower you go, the less possible chance a police guard will come to your rescue. i know from a 1.0 to a .5 is where you like to stay in, .5 is like 50/50 chance i think. better for you to stay in the .6+ region when starting out inless you want to get blown out of space. if you go any lower than that, and you get blown out of a .3 system, just remember, thats like outlaw territory. lowest ive been is a 0 system cause i was with my corp at the time being protected by a megathron battleship, and a electronics warfare ship carrying torpedoes. i was basically there for scouting jumpgates and the loot. and if you want to do pvp be sure you bring a ship that your willing to lose. kinda like gambling, bring money only that your willing to lose. now as gaining money in the game, you cant really make a living just on bounty hunting other players. you can do the missions and the missions have certain levels you can do it as. higher you go the more money or rewards you get. but they also get harder to do too. you can also make money on mining things too. like go to an asteroid belt and start doing some mining. there are corps out there who are based on just mining and mining only so go with them if you like to make alot of money, or do it yourself and you will be on your own, but you prolly be staying in the high security systems getting what a newbie gets when they start out, you just will be able to mine alot more than they can. but there is alot of things about this game, my roomate is just now starting the game up and i will be showing him a bit while he joins my corp. my corp is based in the olo system if you feel like joining up. name of the corp is arch angels assault. and they're headquarters is based in moon 3 station of olo. they i think have around 30 members, but alot are alts so.

get your self a Raven or a Megatron
if you in to 0.0 PvP get a Dreadnought i am going for the Moros
Of all the dreadnoughts currently in existence, the versatile Moros possesses perhaps the greatest capacity to fend off smaller hostiles by itself while concentrating on its primary capital target. By virtue of its protean array of point defense capabilities - including a drone bay capable of fielding vast amounts of drones to safeguard the behemoth - the Moros is single-handedly capable of turning the tide in a fleet battle.
Special Abilities
5% bonus to Capital Hybrid Turret damage per level
50% bonus to drone damage and hitpoints per level
99% reduction in CPU need for Siege Module
if you in eve and are in need of a corp my corp Viscosity is a good place to start
